It often seems to me that men have a harder time finding interesting outfits for kinky events.

And when I say men, I mean anyone who identifies as male or prefers a more masculine look.

The most important thing is to choose an outfit that feels like you — something you feel comfortable and sexy in. It also helps to have a few pieces that can be combined in different ways, so you can create different looks without needing a completely new outfit every time.

And don't forget the accessories: they can really upgrade your outfit.

The upper body

Of course, you can wear a standard asymmetrical or chest harness. They are a safe choice: they are common at fetish events and are unlikely to raise any questions at the door.

You also won't feel out of place — there will be plenty of other people wearing one.

But that's also the downside: you probably won't stand out.

If you want something a little more original, it's worth looking beyond the standard harness.

For people who want more variety, I designed the Modular Harness. It can be worn over the right or left shoulder, and even better, the shoulder pieces can be changed depending on your mood, your lower-body outfit or the party you're going to. The feather shoulder piece is a real eye turner that works well for many settings.

The basic harness with a simple strap is a great option when you want the attention to go to your lower body — for example, when wearing the No Show Skirt.

The lower body

This is where things get a little trickier.

At many fetish events, ordinary trousers or boxer shorts simply aren't going to work as an outfit. Depending on the event, you might need leather, latex, mesh or something considerably more revealing.

The classic: jockstraps

Jockstraps are one of the easiest options for sex-positive events. They're practical, revealing and leave plenty of room for exploration.

For jockstrap lovers, I have several designs, ranging from open-front styles that leave everything on display to closed-front versions, with or without spikes.

And because the fronts are interchangeable, you can change the look without buying a completely new jockstrap.

But what if you don't want to wear a jockstrap?

This is where there is much more room for creativity.

Skirts, for example.

Did you know that in many cultures and periods throughout history, skirts and skirt-like garments have been worn predominantly by men? And there is a good reason for it: they give you a lot of freedom.

For those who like a more classic look, my Kilt Skirt and Gladiator Skirt are both inspired by traditional skirt styles for men — just reinterpreted in black reclaimed bicycle rubber, with the pockets you actually need.

If you're feeling a little more daring, there's the Switch Skirt or No Show Skirt.

Both can be worn in two ways, allowing you to choose how much you want to reveal. The front and back or sides can be more covered, or almost open with not much left to imagination.

Build your own look

You don't have to stick to one particular style.

Mix a harness with a skirt. Add a collar or wristband. Change a shoulder piece. Show more or cover up depending on the party.

That's one of the things I like about fetishwear: there doesn't have to be one correct way to dress.

And if there is something you'd like to wear but can't find anywhere, let me know. I'm always interested in new ideas, collaborations and custom-made pieces.
