Support Capra Libera Tutti

I create clothes and accessories that are upcycled and intentionally vegan. Not only do the materials come from non-animal sources, but I also like to create an alternative to leather. I enjoy it when visitors to my stand first assume I use leather and are then surprised to learn that the items are actually made from discarded bicycle inner tubes. The floggers, biker vests, and skirts have a similar look to leather, but a very different feel.

I was looking for a vegan cause to donate part of my sales to and remembered this beautiful hilly place in Italy that I visited in 2019 with a group of animal rights activists. Most of us—including myself—had spent a lot of time in or around slaughterhouses and industrial farms and had seen more than enough suffering. Visiting Capra Libera Tutti was a chance to slow down and decompress. Of course, it is a place where rescued animals can live in peace. But for me, it had a similar effect.

Capra Libera Tutti was founded by a former farmer who decided to use his land to help animals instead. The animals—of many different species—are free to roam wherever they want and form groups and friendships as they please. Even the small house where Massimo lives was full of animals coming and going as they wished.

Taking care of animals is expensive, so if you would like to help, please consider donating to Capra Libera Tutti.
